Why it works
Everyone lives in their Slack workspace. Probably even more than they do in email.
Compared to Teams, you need to first get your invite accepted to be able to send a message.
This makes it less useful for cold outreach to people you don't know. However, it can work wonders if you want to get a reply from someone you've been in touch with only via email.
